Out of LE11 or LE12 onto the M1 at junction 23, south to the M25, then round to the M20 corridor across Kent — Folkestone for Le Shuttle, Dover for the ferry. From most of our patch the motorway starts within minutes, which is a genuine advantage over Midlands towns that spend the first hour on A-roads.

Shared space, or groupage
Your goods travel with other consignments going the same way and you pay for the space you occupy. It suits smaller loads and dates that can bend. It involves more handlings, and we will point that out rather than selling the cheaper option quietly.
Customs, since Brexit
A household move into the EU is a formal customs movement. It needs a detailed inventory doubling as a packing list, evidence you are transferring your normal residence rather than importing commercially, and the destination country's own relief process.
That last part is where the four genuinely differ — which is why each route page sets out its own sequence rather than repeating a generic paragraph. We prepare what is ours and mark plainly which items only you can obtain, on day one rather than in the final fortnight.

Helps, more than people assume. Junction 23 is minutes from most of our patch, so the loaded vehicle joins the motorway network almost immediately rather than spending the first hour on A-roads. The first leg is longer than from Kent but it starts cleanly.
Dedicated vehicle or shared space?
Dedicated if your dates are firm and it is a whole household. Shared if the load is modest and you can accept a delivery window. The honest trade-off on shared space is more handlings, not just more waiting.
How does packing change?

Can the load wait in store first?
